Little miss Lydia is 2 months old! She continues to be a wonderful baby and is getting fun to interact with. Her first smile came out at 6 weeks and we are now treated to them multiple times during the day.

Likes: Eating, sleeping, staring at lights and faces, reaching for the animals on the bouncy chair
Dislikes: Loud noises, being tired and overstimulated

8 weeks also brought a diagnosis of developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). Another positive to being breech! We had a routine ultrasound that found immature development in Lydia's hips. She will be sporting her new accessory 24 hours per day for at least 8 weeks and most likely won't be done with the entire process until she's 6 months old. The first couple days and nights in the harness were terrible - not much sleep for any of us! Lydia has adjusted to it pretty well now and it's just the new norm.

Man she's sweet & petite! Don't you just love the benefits of being breech. ahhh we always have to worry about that too. It's great that they have the harnass to make things all better though.

That first one of her in the harness makes me feel so bad for her! All made up though with the one of her smiling, too sweet! Love big brother Colin looking so proud to sit with her. I remember when he was the itty bitty boy in that chair. :) Miss you guys!
