4 months

How do I describe this last month?  Chaotic?  Exhausting?  Unpredictable?  It truly has been all of that. 

Ever since Lydia turned 14 weeks she has thrown us for a loop.  She is still a pretty laid back and happy baby but her mood seems more volatile from day to day.  She's more...[dare I say] emotional.  The biggest change this last month has been in her sleep.  We unswaddled her and our nights have been a crapshoot ever since.  She now requires a bedtime of 6:45/6:50 and is back to eating every night between 3:00 and 4:00.  Don't be fooled that she's only up once a night though.  We were dealing with hourly wake-ups for a solid week!  That has definitely calmed down but she still is not the rockstar sleeper that she once was.  And the only positive to such an early bedtime is that I can usually get all of the day's bottles and pump parts washed before saying goodnight to Colin.  The downside is that John and Colin really only get to spend time with her on the weekends.  We eat supper together as a family and then it's rush, rush, rush through bedtime routine. :(

As I said in the previous post, the highlight of Lydia turning 4 months old is by far the approval to remove her from the Pavlik harness!  Her only treatment now is the abduction brace, which she sleeps in to help continue strengthening her hips. 
Likes:  bathtime, kicking her legs, chewing on her fingers, goofy noises & faces
Dislikes:  being tired & hungry, the nasal aspirator
