That blister on your right hand was by far the worst one - it was about the size of the head of a bulletin board tack. You also hand tiny red bumps all around your ankles and part way up your right leg.
You were such a good kid while home "sick" with your momma this week. Goofy and happy, as usual.
I decided that you needed a hair "trim" a couple nights ago and used your dad's clippers to shave down that hair. You weren't too keen on me interrupting your viewing of Mickey but you let me do my thing for the most part. I think you were mostly fascinated by the noise of the clippers and wanted to play with it yourself. : ) It didn't look too bad that night, but now I notice there is a weird section on top that we might have to trim again. If you let me.
Your vocabulary is starting to expand every day now. You love to sing with mom and dad, and even sing along with the Hot Dog Dance song at the end of The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse each morning ("mouse" and "house" are the two words most commonly heard). The ABC song has become a favorite and you know almost all of the letters. "A" and "P" seem to be your favorites. : ) Of course you always clap at the end to congratulate yourself on a job well done.
You are such an active little boy and you enjoy helping us around the house. You even helped me plant flowers along the house when we were home together this week. Your latest way of "helping" makes me laugh every time: if you see my BlackBerry sitting somewhere, you'll pick it up and run it over to me - regardless if I asked you for it or not.
Your dad and I cannot wait for you to experience summer now that you're a toddler. You really love to be outside and we look forward to many bike rides ("whee"), park visits, and hopefully a Twins game or zoo visit here or there.
